Screening of 'Dinner for 2' film

1) What are the negative consequences of becoming 'stuck' in conflict? 
2) How could the chamillions have changed the progression of the conflict before it does damage?
3) What is the difference between competition and cooperation in interpersonal relationships?
4) What are the benefits of cooperation, instead of competition?

    1. They should have let the opponent take the food and the find another one. One of the party should give in.

  11. Competition is an act of competing for a price and thus is free-for-all. however, cooperation is an act of helping each other to get to a single goal. so it is better to cooperate than to have competition as it will be easier and faster

  19. The benefits are if one has trouble doing something, the other can help while in competition, you are on your own and nobody can help you.

  20. Question 1) They did not manage to get other insects as they still hung on the insect that they both caught. And it almost cause their life just by having a conflict. Everybody gathered to watch their conflict which turned into violence.

  21. 1) They get rivals, they may not only harm themselves, but others too. They also will suffer guilt after the conflict.

  22. 4) Like shown in this video, opposing parties may benefit when they settle their disputes. For example, instead of the chameleons being eaten by crocodiles, they get 1/3 of the fly they were fighting over. Logically speaking, 1/3 fly > 0 fly + death.
